Council committee to hold 2nd hearing on new dome

The Finance/ExecutiveCommittee of the Atlanta City Council will hold a second work sessionWednesday, Feb. 20, at 11:30 a.m. on matters pertaining to the proposed newprofessional football stadium in downtown Atlanta. 

The work session, inthe City Council Chamber on 2nd floor of Atlanta City Hall, will allow Council membersto dialogue and ask questions regarding the information provided during thebriefing held at the first Finance/Executive Committee Meeting held Feb.13. 
The Feb. 20 meetingwill focus on the historical information and legislative history of the currentGeorgia Dome, its current condition and why a new Stadium construction is beingproposed.
The work session willbe open to the public.  However, public comment will be taken at the endof the session with a 3-minute time limit.
The proceedings willbe televised live on Comcast Cable Station 26, or can be viewed via the web on www.atlantaga.gov
