Cheesecake Factory may open Lenox Mall restaurant

The Cheesecake Factory reportedly may take one of redesigned spacesat the front of Lenox Square as the mall begins renovations that will include anew façade facing Peachtree Road. The company might relocate its Buckheadrestaurant at 3024 Peachtree Road to the space.

According to an online report today by the Atlanta Business Chronicle,The Cheesecake Factory Inc. is eyeing a portion of the former Crate &Barrel space near the Peachtree Road entrance, according to industry insiders.
The Crate & Barrel space is being divided for two tenants, arestaurant and a two-story retailer. The restaurant would have a patio and wouldsit near Macy’s, according to the Business Chronicle.
The Business Chronicle also reports that company is consideringopening one of its other restaurants in the Lenox Square mall space— a conceptcalled Grand Lux Café. The Venetian-style restaurant has 14 locations aroundthe country, but none in Georgia.
A Grand Lux Café opened last July in Cherry Hill Mall in CherryHill, N.J. That restaurant is about 8,700 square feet and has around 300 seats,according to the Business Chronicle report.
Other new restaurants are planned for the front of the mall,including in the spot where the former Wolf Camera & Video was located, thebusiness publication said.
