Buckhead Coalition buys bike racks for Zone 2 police

The Buckhead Coalitionhas bought two bike racks for Atlanta Police Zone 2 to provide for the maximumuse of police bikes in the zone that serves Buckhead.

The detachable racks,which can hold three bikes each, allow the three officers trained for this unitto travel to a beat or action destination quickly for the start of bikepatrolling. 
Over the years, theCoalition has provided other related equipment, including bikes and specialapparel.  The Coalition’s president, Sam Massell, has consistently takenthe position the Coalition “stands ready to supplement government’s capacity tosupply appropriate equipment, wherever needed.”
