Gourmet popcorn shop to open at Peachtree Battle

Peachtree Battle Shopping Center is poised to get a new gourmetpopcorn retailer, CaJa Popcorn, which plans to open its doors on Friday, Sept. 21.Owner Kevin Peak said he “is thrilled to bring a true gourmet popcornexperience to the Atlanta area.”

Theshop will feature chef-inspired, small batch popcorn handmade daily in flavorslike Sea Salt Caramel, Spicy BBQ,Pimento Cheese, Kettle Corn, and Butter. The announcement states “CaJa’spopcorn is prepared using only the highest quality ingredients, with nopreservatives and no nuts ever.
Peak, whosecareer has included a stint at the U.S. State Department and 20-plus years inthe financial industry, is “excited to open a family-friendly business dedicated to fresh, delicious popcorn and excellent customer service.” Thename CaJa was inspired by the names of Peak’s two children, Caroline andJackson.
