2012/2013 Camp Days
Club Orion, The Orion School’s after-care program, will be hosting a camp this fall during days when school is not in session. Winter Break Camp dates TBA. The camp days are designed for children who have neurobehavioral conditions including ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome and anxiety.
Times:September 17, September 26
October 8, and October 12
December 27, 28
January 2,3,4
February 15,18,19
March 8 Spring Break dates TBA
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Cost:$55 per day. Siblings welcome. Each Day:
· Maintains the Orion teacher-to-child ratio of 1:4 · Introduces social skill building activities, including problem solving, understanding social cues, managing frustration, expressing needs and emotions, cooperative play, and making friends
· Supplies organic and healthy snack options
· Has a positive behavior system in place as well as tenants of The Alert Program
· Offers the novelty within structure that curious and energetic children thrive in
Club Orion "Camp" activities will include:
Creative ArtsSports Skills & Team Building Gardening & Natural Science Activities - including Chicken Care!Tai ChiCooperative Games
