Buckhead Councilwoman Felicia Moore speaks at Salvation Army's Dress For Success event Sunday

Dist. 9Atlanta City Councilwoman Felicia Moore, who represents a portion of westernBuckhead, will be the guest speaker at the Salvation Army Red ShieldServices’ Dress for Success event Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army RedShield Services center, 400 Luckie Street N.W.

 Dressfor Success is a runway walk where women will be wearing business attire thathas been donated to help them in order to go out and re-enter the businessindustry, knowing the meaning to be dressed for success.
 Allacross the nation, the Salvation Army’s Dress for Success program has helpedthousands of women proudly re-enter the workforce. Many women in metro Atlantaare struggling to regain financial independence and improve the quality of lifefor their children and families. Dress for Success provides that opportunity.
Inaddition, the Salvation Army Red Shield Services’ has also started aPersonal Professional Development and Life Skills class to help the clientsimprove their lives to make it in the business field. This class also helps tobuild up their self-esteem and help them to know their self-worth.
