We are so excited about The Orion School's proposed outdoor classroom - Green Space with Grace. The Orion School was founded to create a school that educates students who have neurobehavioral challenges including ADHD, Asperger's and anxiety. Our students need an active and vibrant program to experience the success more traditional school programs just can not offer. Our curriculum has such an experiential focus that we have been making some amazing community connections the past six years. We are now ready to formalize what we are already doing in so many ways and create a model urban outdoor classroom at The Orion School! Today was a productive day with regard to our project. The support for our Outdoor Classroom is growing. So far we've begun partnerships with Trees Atlanta, Earth Savers Club, Canton Creek Farm, and Farmer D Organics. Yay!
