Piedmont HeartInstitute has announced Charles B. Ross, M.D., who is board-certified invascular surgery, as the new chief of vascular and endovascular services.

Prior to joiningPiedmont Heart Institute in Buckhead, Ross served as an associateprofessor of surgery and chief of the vascular surgery and endovasculardivision within the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville. He wasalso on staff at Norton Hospital and Jewish Hospital, both located inLouisville, Kentucky. 
Ross earned hismedical degree from the University of Kentucky College Of Medicine. Hecompleted his residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University and thenwent on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at the Louisiana StateUniversity Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
