Buckhead 50 Club honored for 80 years of service

Sam Massell, presidentof the Buckhead Coalition and a member of the Buckhead 50 Club took advantageof the annual ladies night event Sept. 4 to present the club a commendation for80 Years of service to the Buckhead community.

Founded in 1932—well beforeBuckhead became part of Atlanta—the Buckhead 50 Club continues to meet to hold11 monthly meetings each year (excluding July) for dinner, fellowship and aprogram to enhance the communication and knowledge of its members. It wasfounded for the purpose serving and connecting the Buckhead community.
The club meets thefirst Tuesday of each month at American Legion Post 140, on the southern edgeof Chastain Park, 3905 Powers Ferry Road in Buckhead.
