Skyland Trail, anon-profit treatment facility for adults with mental illness, will host 11 ofthe nation’s leading mental health researchers and clinicians at the SecondAnnual Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Lecture Series on Friday.

Panelists andlecturers will share the latest mental health research, insights and practices,centered around the event’s theme, “Trailblazing in Psychiatry: Charting FuturePaths of Mental Health Treatments.” 
The Lecture Series honorsDorothy Chapman Fuqua, founding board member, long-time friend and benefactorof Skyland Trail.  In its second year, the Lecture Series iscommitted to the engagement and education of the Atlanta community on issues ofmental health.
The lecturersparticipating will be: Charles B. Nemeroff, MD, PhD, Leonard Miller School ofMedicine, University of Miami; Mark L. Rosenberg, MD, MPP, The Task Force forGlobal Health, Atlanta, and Doug M. Ziedonis, MD, MPH, University ofMassachusetts Medical School.
Panelists willinclude: W. Edward Craighead, PhD, Emory University School of Medicine; PhilipD. Harvey, PhD, Leonard Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami; Ned H.Kalin, MD, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health; ClintonD. Kilts, PhD, University of Arkansas – Medical Sciences; John W. Newcomer, MD,Leonard Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, and Alan F. Schatzberg,MD, Stanford University School of Medicine
The moderators willbe: Mark H. Rapaport, MD, Emory University School of Medicine, and RayKotwicki, MD, MPH, Emory University School of Medicine, Skyland Trail.
The Lecture Series eventwill take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Skyland Trail Health andEducation Center, Main Campus, 1903 North Druid Hills Road.
