Klein has served 12 ofher past 16 years with Klein Contracting Corporation, a commercial roofingcompany, president and part owner, making her the driving force behind one ofonly a handful of women owned commercial roofing companies in America. KCC’s clients include AT&T, The Coca Cola Company, Grady Hospital and theUniversity of Georgia.
Klein is a member ofthe National Roofing Contractors association, has served as the president ofthe Master Roofing Contractors association of GA, and is a member of theNational Legal Roofers Resource group.
Aside from the love ofasphalt, Klein loves Rotary. After graduating from Carnegie MellonUniversity, she spent four years in Rotaract, a younger division ofRotary. She has been a Rotarian for 14 years serving in every capacityfrom project management to officer to current president of the Rotary Club ofBuckhead.
Klein is the secondyoungest and only third female to serve as president. Klein is most proudof the anticipated $273,000 record charitable spending of the club thisyear.
She lives in VirginiaHighlands with her three rescue dogs.
The Buckhead BusinessAssociation (BBA) Weekly Breakfast Series takes place each Thursday morningfrom 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the City Club of Buckhead. There will be nobreakfast meeting Oct. 25 because that is the day for the quarterly luncheonmeeting at 103 West special events facility, 103 West Paces Ferry Road, from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The luncheon speaker will be J. Michael Roberts, retiredpresident of Perdue Chicken. Additionally,BBA will present public safety awards to Officers of the Quarter from AtlantaPolice Department Zone 2, Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, and Atlanta FireRescue.
Tickets for the luncheon event are $50 for members, $75 fornon-members, and tables are $400 and $600, respectively.
